STAGE 1 - INITIAL CONTACT STAGE 2 - APPLICATION STAGE 3 - ADMISSION TO THE SCHOOL All members of the administration team are available during school opening hours and are happy to deal with any queries or concerns you may have regarding any part of the administrative process. A visit to the school is an obvious starting point to the entry procedure, however, we understand that for some people this may not be practical. Admission procedures may be described in three stages as set out below. STAGE 1 - INITIAL CONTACT If you are on the Island you will be invited to a tour of the school, which will include:
We will explain to you:
We will expect to answer your queries on these or other matters and clear guidance is given in the documentation. You will be introduced to the Head, or another member of Senior Management, though this may not always be possible on your initial visit. Where there is a waiting list it is important to note that the school secretary can indicate to you when a place may become available but this information is advisory only and may change according to circumstances. STAGE 2 - APPLICATION Should you decide to apply formally for admission to The International British Yeoward School on behalf of your child/children, we will require: A completed Application for enrolment Form with a copy of the latest school report (if available)
We will provide you with a school brochure and provide information on such matters as school uniform, transport, school routines, extra curricular activities and lunch arrangements. STAGE 3 - ADMISSION TO THE SCHOOL A formal offer of a place will be made by the Headteacher. Arrangements for the child/children to begin will be made at this stage.
If you have any further queries or concerns that have not been adequately addressed, please do not hesitate to draw them to our attention. We look forward to seeing you at the International British Yeoward School, and to welcoming your family to our community
